A disappearing CKEditor box when you try to activate the buttons for Font selection, Font Size, Font Color, and Font Highlight is a continuing problem in Drupal 8. The solution was simple after I found an explanation by Wim Leers.

Flushing all caches after updating a Drupal maintenance release is not shown as required in the Drupal documentation, but it appears to be good practice. At very least it is harmless.
A customer has called several times complaining that the person at the other end of a Skype call can't hear him. The problem is that his microphone gets set to the default setting. This is how to correct the problem.
A customer complained that the 11 point default font in Outlook is too small. After making a snide remark about his age, this is what i told him:

The video course that I took to get started in Drupal did a wonderful job of showing me how to create a custom block and put it in an area on my webpage. Unfortunately, I have since found that except in rare instances it's the wrong thing to do.
The "right" way, at least as far as I am concerned is to create a content type and then create a view as a block. Then place the block where you would have placed the custom block.
A regular customer called. He noticed that he had a lot of Sent Items in his email on his phone. Not understanding how Microsoft Exchange works, he proceeded to delete Sent Items from his phone - several hundred items that were a record or legal transactions.
It is an understatement to say that the customer was somewhat disconcerted when he looked for the sent items on his computer and found that they were no longer there and not in his Deleted Items folder (oops).
